Department of Islamic Studies

About the Department 
The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the oldest departments of the college established in the year 1955. The department is endowed with highly qualified teaching faculty actively involved in teaching, research activities and student welfare programmes. It conducts inter college as well as intra-college interactions with the renowned scholars of the subject to infuse exposure and enthusiasm among students for higher studies.

Vision
Revival of Islamic spirit among the students in order to make them responsible citizens at individual and global level.

Mission
To inculcate the moral and ethical values of life among the students in order to eradicate social crimes, like Adulatory, theft, suicide, Drug Addiction etc.

To inculcate amongst the students the highest values of life, sense of sustainable development, respect for human beings beyond the boundaries of race, color, religion.
