About the Department

The department is one of the oldest in the college. The department is located in the main building of the college. The department has a separate room, a good number of books and a couple of computers to facilitate its functioning. However, the department needs up-gradation in terms of infrastructure and other facilities.

Vision

The department strives to inculcate quantitative, analytical and logical skills in the students. We envision producing those who possess the knowledge of mathematical tools, of logical and inferential acumen.

Mission

The department strives to visualize the mission of seeing its students being trained in analytical skills, numerical abilities, logical derivations, spatial understanding and statistical inference.
