The Department of Social Work Govt. Degree College Sopore was established in the year 2016. Social work is a powerful tool for assisting individuals, families, organizations, communities, and societies to change.

The department offers BA Social Work (General) to help the students to understand the complexity of issues, the many causes of problems, and, therefore, the multiple solutions that are possible.

The Department will excel in training social workers with values to make a significant contribution to the society.
