A brief introduction to Govt. Degree College, Sopore’s IGNOU study Centre no -1210. Indira Gandhi National Open National was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 to achieve the following objectives:

• To provide access to high quality education to all those who seek it irrespective of age, region or formal qualifications.
• To offer need-based academic programmes by giving professional and vocational orientation to the courses.
• To set and maintain standards in education in the country as an apex body

12 stands for the state code and the last 2 digits i.e. 10 stands for the study centre code. Our study centre office situated in  IGNOU Block of the College Building. For getting any help/information/clarification about IGNOU you have to contact our study centre during office hours only. Our Study Centre’s staff will try their level best to give you the assistance as much as they can.
