The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the oldest departments of the college established in the year 1955. The department is endowed with highly qualified teaching faculty actively involved in teaching, research activities and student welfare programmes. It conducts inter college as well as intra-college interactions with the renowned scholars of the subject to infuse exposure and enthusiasm among students for higher studies.
