The Department of Urdu is the oldest Departments of the college. Till date thousands of students have learned Urdu language and Literature in this college. Department offers a variety of courses covering major trends and movements of Urdu language and Literature. The choice based credit system allows the students to choose from a variety of elective courses that are offered in addition to core courses.
