Subject: Information on Available Scholarship Schemes on the NSP Portal

 

This is to inform all students that various scholarship schemes for the academic year 2024-2025 are now open for application on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Students are encouraged to apply for these scholarships to ease their financial burden and support their educational journey. These schemes cater to different categories, including merit-based, need-based, and specific categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and minority groups. Eligible students are encouraged to apply before the deadline to avail of financial assistance. Below are details of the key schemes available.

1. Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students:

Eligibility:

• Must be a Scheduled Caste (SC) student, an Indian national.
• With parental/guardian income not exceeding ₹2,50,000 annually.
• Applicable to regular students in Graduate and post-graduate courses in India.

Application Deadline: 15th November 2024

 

2. Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities:

Eligibility:

• Must be a student with a disability of 40% or above and an Indian national.
• Pursuing Class 11th, 12th, Diploma, or Graduate/Post Graduate courses in India.
• Annual parental income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.

Application Deadline: 15th November 2024

 

3. Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana – Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (PM-USP-CSSS)

Eligibility:

• Students within the top 20 percentile in class 12th annual Board examination.
• Enrolled in regular degree courses from AICTE or other approved institutions.
• Annual family income should not exceed ₹4,50,000.

Application Deadline: 15th November 2024

 

Application Instructions:

1. Registration: Visit https://scholarships.gov.in and complete the New Registration using your mobile OTP.
